Parents are welcome to sit in on their child’s lesson at any time in a homey atmosphere. Siblings are also welcome to stay and engage in a quiet activity like working on homework, reading or playing on their device.

 

 

 

 

4. Piano lessons on an acoustic Heintzman Grand Piano!

 

There’s just nothing like the surround sound effect of a grand piano and the beautiful tone of a Heintzman piano adds depth to the music. Built in 1927 and refurbished in the 1990s, the piano is kept tuned to concert pitch and my students love playing on it.

 

 

 

 

6. Free annual recital with no student participation fees.

 

While many private piano teachers charge a recital fee, my recitals are always free.

Every parent wants to know how their child is progressing. The best way for a parents to understand if their investment in lessons is truly worthwhile is to hear their child perform in a recital. And it gets even better when parents compliment each other’s children!

What young child doesn’t love to put a sticker on their completed piece to mark their achievement in a most colourful manner? Even the tweens quietly admit they still like to get stickers, especially the “cool” varieties.

 

 

 

 

 

9. Theory lessons with the same teacher

 

Many piano teachers don’t offer music theory lessons. Having studied with an excellent teacher from U fo T's Faculty of Music and the Royal Conservatory of Music,  I have always enjoyed teaching music theory. My students typically achieve First Class Honors on their Conservatory rudiments exams, and many of them use these grades to obtain a high school credit.

Piano Lessons Etobicoke is close to 3 major roads with many alternate routes accessible in case of construction or traffic jam hold-ups.
